Photograph of the Month - 2

Friends, quite gradually we have completed the second month of our existence. And its a pleasure to present to you, our second "Photograph of the Month", judged by veteran photographer, Mr Jaydeb Bhattacharya.
We thank Jaydeb Sir to have found time for us and have tracked the entire month of work, we are priviledged to have his experience and guidance by our side.

"The innocent eyes"
Photograph by Koustav Ghosh. He has his unique style of seeing the world. He stays calm, serene and lost, the perfect way philosophers should be ;) But at the end of the day, delivers what we want - a good photograph! This guy from Sainthia, West Bengal started capturing moments since he got his nokia 3110c...now he have a Cannon powershot sx120 IS. He has a special affection for macros'!:)

"This photograph by Koustav Ghosh is the best. It has the spontaneity, the simplicity, the expression, the candidness, the human approach towards composition. The colour are all amalgamated, but without sophistication. He only needs more skill in Processing."
- Jaydeb Bhattacharya

Jaydeb Bhattacharya
The Photograph was judged by Jaydeb Bhattacharya. He for us is an embodiment of experience and a resource of art based on the experiences of his life. He started photography way back in 1978, but had to give it a break during his service years. This veteran student of the Photography Association of Dum Dum asks us amateurs to be sincere towards photography, to  use editing software judicially and ethically. It can be a boon otherwise one day that will kill one's inner artistic self.  Photography for him is an avenue for self expression and asks us not to get carried away by popularity and loose identity as an artist within.

Durnibar is one of the most unconventional photographers I have seen. This young lad from Kolkata, defines each theme his own way, and its always a pleasure looking at his creation.

<< Photograph by Karthik Pashupathy"Photography is an art that makes me see the world in a whole new perspective.", this biotechnology master student is one of the best photographers and someone you should connect to when you dream of Chennai streets, people and their emotions.

The photograph of the expression of the Bharatnatyam dancer speaks for itself. No words shall be enough to praise the anticipation, the feelings of the dancer ;) This is shot by Srivatsan Sankaran. Click here to "like" his photography page.
