Photograph by Pratyay Mukhopadhyay. He is a civil engineering student from Jadavpur university. He likes presenting the world around him look best in the two dimensions. For me, he is a person who perhaps a different eye.. I look at him through his photographs.. few of them are extremely innovative, and required risk and minute details, but he managed to get it neat through :)
" I like it because the image is clear and well composed. There is a good sense of balance between the cool looking bug and the negative space to the left of it. The colours are rich and saturated to the point where you can almost feel the humidity in the air and sense the pungent smell of the plants and earth. It gets my vote."

The Photograph was judged by Cam MacMaster from Toronto Ontario. He specialises in wedding photography. He’ve always believed that photography is the language of memories, as it preserves them in a way that nothing else can. And the best memories, the sharpest ones, are always the simplest ones. As a photographer, he is  not into gimmicks or unusual techniques, he tries to capture the special moments in the most simple and beautiful way he can. The way he approaches weddings is not only by looking with his eyes through the camera lens, but by seeing with hsi heart. We thank him for the time which he has spent with us.
